About me

Tatsuro Inaba is a first-year Ph.D. student at the Tohoku NLP Group, Tohoku University, under the supervision of Prof. Kentaro Inui. He previously completed his master’s studies at the Speech and Audio Processing Lab at Kyoto University, where he was advised by Prof. Kazuyoshi Yoshii and Prof. Eita Nakamura. During his undergraduate studies, he was a member of the Language Media Processing Lab at Kyoto University, working under the guidance of Prof. Sadao Kurohashi.

My research interests lie in the following areas:

  • Music Information Retrieval (MIR)
    • mechanistic interpretability of music models
    • domain-specific model architecture for music [APSIPA’24]
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
    • mechanistic interpretability of language models [NAACL’25]
    • practical application of LLMs [ACL’23]
